The Lazio region, located in the central part of the Peninsula, with the pre-Apennine hills sloping gently towards the sea, boasts a soil and climatic condition which has always been favourable for olive growing.

The mild climate characterised by winds arriving from the sea on the hills and plains, in addition to the wealth of knowledge of the Lazio farmers, have meant that over the centuries the olive tree has found its ideal habitat.

Today, as in the past, the olive oil produced in the Lazio countryside maintains a very close link with the city of Rome from an economic, social and cultural point of view.

Olive growing and the production of extra virgin olive oil are undoubtedly among the excellences of this region.
