Contrassegno Olio di Roma PGI

The traceability of Olio di Roma PGI is guaranteed by the presence in the packaging of a guarantee mark containing a unique alphanumeric code for each single bottle. In this way it is possible to make the production process of the entire supply chain transparent, from field to milling and packing.

The Digital Passport is a new guarantee system allowing the protection of Italian food productions and providing for the entry of certified producers into the Trust Your Food® system, an App created by the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato that allows consumers to type, scan or dictate the alphanumeric code on the label getting in real time the authenticity and traceability of data on every single pack.

For companies that are interested in requesting the guarantee marks, it is necessary to send a PEC to the Consortium address: oliodiromaigp@legalmail.it

The request must be submitted at least 15 days before use.
