CONSORTIUM

The Olio di Roma PGI Protection Consortium is authorized by the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies with D.M. of 10 May 2022 (published in the Official Journal no. 115 of 18/05/2022).

The non-profit Consortium was established to safeguard and spread the quality of the Extra Virgin Olive Oil produced in the area of the Viterbo, Rieti, Rome, Frosinone and Latina provinces, as well as supervise the correct use of the trademark, protect it from abuse, counterfeiting and improper use of the designation.

Among other purposes, it intends spreading the knowledge of the Olio di Roma PGI, making the territory of origin recognizable also through targeted promotional activities.
